This position is located at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina.
Will serve as a Collateral Security Representative for the VMFAT-501 and the F-35 Pilot Training Center. Responsibilities include: - Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) / Joint Clearance and Access Verification System (JCAVS) / Defense Information System for Security (DISS) administration to include:
Perform Investigation initiation and termination actions when required.
Perform daily notification management actions for assigned personnel when required.
Input Personal Conduct deviation information to when received.
Process visit requests for collateral clearances for assigned personnel.
Generate / Review monthly reports for assigned personnel. - Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) administration to include:
Perform daily administration actions on investigations for assigned personnel.
CAFPORTAL and JPAS RRU actions. - Process and approve various Information System Account Requests by verifying security clearance criteria is met by submitter. - Provide Security Awareness briefings to onboarding Military / Civilian and Contractor personnel. - Provide Foreign Travel briefings to assigned personnel. - Providing assistance to other security team members, as appropriate - Performing other duties as required - Mission requirements may dictate a change with respect to the primary shift assignment (i.e. candidate may be required to work a different shift than the one identified in this job requisition.)
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications 1. Current Initial Secret Security Clearance Investigation within 6 years from the Investigation close date 2. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) Access. 3. Knowledge of NISPOM, JAFANs and DoD 5205.07 SAP Volumes. 4. Works well independently and in group settings. 5. Excellent written, verbal and customer interface skills. 6. Prior experience as a Security Manager or working in a Security related field, implementing security plans and operations. 7. Ability to multi-task and remain organized; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products 8. Excellent Presentation Skills
Desired skills 1. Periodic Reinvestigation within the last five years. 2. Knowledge of Collateral Security requirements. 3. Experience working on Special Access Programs. 4. Prior experience generating and maintaining Security files 5. Prior experience with Security related forms and procedures. 6. Experience working in a military environment.
